Creating.

This weekend was all about creating. I felt like the kids really needed some down time. A day to kick back and relax. A day for us to connect. A day to do what ever they want. So while my Husband scooted off to on OT day at the office, we stayed in our PJ's til 4pm and created art all day. We used paper, canvas, material, yarn and pumpkins to create our art.

For some reason Brayden prefers to stand on his chair while doing his art.

Here is Danielle's oil pastel Master piece all about Mount Parents Mount Danielle, Mount Brayden, Everest and Baker.
This is Brayden's creation for the day, no explanation needed!

Here is a photo from our trip to the Pumpkin patch on Saturday. On Sunday the kids drew the faces on the pumpkins and then cut away. The one in front is supposed to look like Brayden, then the next one is Danielle, then Daddy and last but not least...MUMMY.
Yep Daddy got a grumpy scary face and the very round big one is "Mummy". Not sure which is better, grumpy or round? Speaking of round....I must run, I've got to go and burn off some of that roundness on my Gazelle. Enjoy your Halloween my friends!

Your pumpkins look great! The kids carved theirs last night and once again only Cameron would clean out the seeds and goop. Emma and Evan thought it was too yucky to touch! Good thing for moms...
